When only the best will do, say it with billet! These billet rear lower trailing arms replace the stamped steel OE parts, and depending on your desired performance goals are available with urethane bushings or a sperical bearing/urethane bushing combination for high horsepower applications.

These lightweight yet super strong arms reduce un-sprung weight and eliminate wheel hop. Steeda was first to market with these control arms and had them on the shelves even before the 2005+ Mustang was released thanks to our exclusive technology transfer program with Ford Motor Company. Steeda was the first to incorporate the proper design rear offset for the rear lower trailing arms.

We spent countless hours fiquring out where the S197 Mustangs could benefit most from chassis stiffening. Here is the end result.

Steeda's 3-point torque box and frame rail braces are made from 4130 Chrome Moly material. This material is twice as strong as mild steel. These braces are specifically designed for the S197 Mustang. They tie together the inner/outer frame rails and the rear lower control arm mount. Our braces are silver powdercoated and come with mounting hardware. Can be bolted with supplied hardware but a welded installation is recommeded for maximum benefit from these braces.

Short throws, precise action, stop-bolts to prevent damage to the transmission and linkage under hard usage, our unique two-position handle height, and calibrated internal spring tension to assist you in never missing 3rd gear! This last feature is exclusive to the S197 Tri-Ax and not found in any other S197 shifter!

The factory steel mounting rail is replaced with a substantial billet beam for more positive location; and upgraded rear mounting bushings are supplied to further reduce deflection under hard shifting. The shifter base, handle, and beam are all CNC machined by Steeda from 6061 aluminum.

Replace your factory panhard bar with Steeda’s Watts Linkage. The Steeda Watt’s Linkage is all new and a definite “step above” EVERYTHING available today in the marketplace. When you combine this rear suspension element with our other track tested and proven suspension products, you will certainly end up with a suspension system that is the very best available anywhere. Steeda’s Watts Linkage eliminates the unwanted lateral motion inherent in the geometry of the factory panhard bar in its operating range. Eliminating the lateral movement of the axle will provide for a more stable and confidence inspiring feeling as your vehicle’s suspension moves through its range of motion. Constructed out of tubular chrome moly alloy steel, not mild steel like competitors. TWICE as strong and lighter than mild steel competitors keeping weight to a minimum with superior strength.

Although the concept of the watts link is not new, Steeda has set itself apart from the competition through innovation. On a Watt's Link-equipped vehicle, the center pivot of the center link is the rear roll center. Steeda’s Watts Linkage allows the center pivot to move up or down to adjust your roll center up or down. Further, the lateral links should be horizontal and the center link vertical with the vehicle at ride height. Steeda’s Watts Linkage maintains this ideal geometry unlike the competition. When the links are not set up horizontal at ride height, there can be significant increases in scrub in one or both directions of travel. In addition to the best performance, Steeda goes the extra mile to eliminate unwanted NVH with the use of polyurethane bushings.

This product is for the most discerning street performance enthusiast and also for the track enthusiast seeking maximum performance and control. The loose axle feeling with the Panhard Bar (due to lateral axle movement) doesn't always inspire confidence when tossing the car around. The tight, responsive feeling with a Watt's Linkage will allow a typical driver to achieve much better feel and control when pushing the vehicle to its maximum limits.

Need to reduce wheel hop and improve traction? The Steeda adjustable upper 3rd link for S197 Mustangs gives you the ability to set your pinion angle and eliminate the torque deflection associated with the factory piece. This upper 3rd link uses our track proven three piece bushing package on the axle end to help reduce axle wind up, wheel hop, and allow proper articulation without deflection for improved handling and cornering stability. Steeda's three piece bushing package will not increase NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) keeping the factory's quiet, smooth operation unlike competitor's pieces.  Direct replacement for the factory original bolting into the original factory location. Our 3rd link is a double adjustable design allowing you to make adjustments without removing the arm from the vehicle.
