When only the best will do, say it with billet! These billet rear lower trailing arms replace the stamped steel OE parts, and depending on your desired performance goals are available with urethane bushings or a sperical bearing/urethane bushing combination for high horsepower applications.

These lightweight yet super strong arms reduce un-sprung weight and eliminate wheel hop. Steeda was first to market with these control arms and had them on the shelves even before the 2005+ Mustang was released thanks to our exclusive technology transfer program with Ford Motor Company. Steeda was the first to incorporate the proper design rear offset for the rear lower trailing arms.

We spent countless hours fiquring out where the S197 Mustangs could benefit most from chassis stiffening. Here is the end result.

Steeda's 3-point torque box and frame rail braces are made from 4130 Chrome Moly material. This material is twice as strong as mild steel. These braces are specifically designed for the S197 Mustang. They tie together the inner/outer frame rails and the rear lower control arm mount. Our braces are silver powdercoated and come with mounting hardware. Can be bolted with supplied hardware but a welded installation is recommeded for maximum benefit from these braces.

Like the tens of thousands of Tri-Ax shifters that came before it, this Tri-Ax carries over many of the same great features.

Short throws, precise action, stop-bolts to prevent damage to the transmission and linkage under hard usage, our unique two-position handle height, and calibrated internal spring tension to assist you in never missing 3rd gear! This last feature is exclusive to the S197 Tri-Ax and not found in any other S197 shifter!

The factory steel mounting rail is replaced with a substantial billet beam for more positive location; and upgraded rear mounting bushings are supplied to further reduce deflection under hard shifting. The shifter base, handle, and beam are all CNC machined by Steeda from 6061 aluminum.

Often imitated but never truly duplicated, get the original and best line of short throw shifters for your Mustang!

When dealing with Roots or Twin Screw Superchargers there's always the issue of intake temps. When running the car hard and spinning the blower fast you create heat. Heat equals a loss in power as well as the possibility of damage to the engine. One way to help reduce these intake temps and the risk of damage is to add more fluid into the intercooler system which in turn helps lower intake temps by dissapating heat.

Whether it be on the street or at the track the warmer the car runs the more timing gets pulled. In addition to that an excessive amount of heat known as heat soak starts to take place. This keeps the car down on power and running less efficient. This again can be helped by adding more fluid into the cooling system. The temperature of the intercooler fluid will lower and cool down faster in between runs.
